DigiPix delivered full services to Shammy’s Auto including branding, photography, video, website design, SEO (search engine optimization), social media management, social media marketing, reputation management, content writing, graphic design, poster printing, technology consulting & business advising.
We were referred by one of our clients to Shammy’s Auto back in November 2014. Our initial observations indicated that Shammy needed better branding and a new website. Upon further research, we found more complications with the website design, social media and Google AdWords. During the first consultation, we advised Shammy to completely overhaul his brand, design and online marketing strategy.
DigiPix began working on Shammy’s in March 2015. To accomplish our ambitious goals, we worked through a number of phases:
Phase One – Branding:
Making Shammy’s logo and appearance stand out in the automotive industry was challenging. The old Shammy’s Auto logo was just SHAMMY’S AUTO DETAILING INC. written in simple bold font capital and didn’t have any identity to the business and brand representation. We need to come up with complete new concept to bypass traditional auto detailing business logo.
The logo needed a more modern conceptualization to catch the eye of potential customers. We suggested the removal of “Auto Detailing Inc.” because the full business name does not need to be in the logo. By simplifying the name, there is now room for a tagline and more services under the same brand.
Our design team got to work on few concepts initially but Shammy was focused to show car’s outline in the logo somewhere. We wanted to design bold, powerful and future proof logo which attracts on first attempt and can last up to 15 years before consider re-design again.
After careful research and looking at the modern cars we decided to show the car in logo with 3 concepts. First concept was retro, second one was classic and third one was modern.
After displayed the logo at Shammy’s Auto office for more than a week, Shammy chooses the modern concept of logo. Mostly people also liked the modern logo as well in our general survey.
DigiPix Inc. also designed business cards, appointment cards, envelopes and promotion posters.
Phase Two – Website Design:

Phase Three – Marketing:
Based on Google searches, customers of Shammy’s would search for services through mobile technology rather than on a desktop computer. By doing the OnPage and OffPage SEO (search engine optimization) we brought Shammy the business he deserves from mobile and desktop searchers.
