About the Founder of DigiPix Inc., Khurram Qureshi:

Khurram Qureshi created the DigiPix brand in 2006 as a video production and post-production service driven solely by his passion for the arts. Over the years, he has served hundreds of clients, all while maintaining the highest rankings on Facebook and Google. His hard work and compassion are visible in the exceptional video reviews left by his clientele, all of whom are beyond happy with his work.

Khurram’s journey began when he realized that the entrepreneurial marketplace was thirsty for more ideas to help grow their brand. As a result, he added 2D and 3D Animation, 3D Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality, Business Consulting, Branding, Marketing and Team Coaching to his long list of services. He understood the challenges small businesses faced and provided advice and solutions to help them grow.

Ultimately, Khurram focused on assisting struggling businesses. His goal was to become a helping hand, where he served as a mentor for various business owners and took part in training their management. His leadership reflects his nurturing prowess, one that coincides with Khurram’s belief in growing with his clients and offering them personalized advice just the way they want it. From market needs to government requirements, his meticulous approach is the reason why he holds the trust and respect of many.

Not only that, but he has numerous experiences that color his expertise in vibrant shades of excellence. He played a major part in leading successful brands, having served as the Marketing Manager of Food Time Restaurant, Business consultant for Unique Auto Inc. and as the Director of Marketing & Sales for Norseman Construction & Development in Toronto.

This special combination of skills and experience motivated him to accept the challenge of becoming the Chairperson of the Downtown Ajax BIA (Business Improvement Area) and serving in the difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, Khurram has taken over the role of Director of Sales and Marketing for Ascano HVAC & Property Management, as well as Advisor & Consultant for Aspire Natural Health.

Joining hands with a professional naturopathic doctor, one who also possesses knowledge related to marketing, has been the highlight of his year. Khurram solely took it upon himself to learn more about the holistic nature of naturopathy to better guide Dr. Romi Raina, enriching him with ideas and business proposals to further their partnership. So far, not only has he succeeded in evolving Dr. Raina’s marketing traffic, but he has also drafted yearly plans to develop Aspire Natural Health’s overall business for up to 5 years in the future. As Khurram says, ‘Believe it to Achieve it!’

His strong leadership qualities tend to speak for themselves. One such memorable moment occurred in 2019, when he was elected as the Chairperson for the board of the Downtown Ajax BIA, having impressed the members. In this role, Khurram supported and advocated for the 130 retailers and property owners that made up the Downtown Ajax BIA. Additionally, as Chairperson, he advised the Region of Durham’s Director of Economic Development & Tourism, MPP for Ajax, Rod Phillips, Town of Ajax Councillors, Regional Councillors and the Mayor on how to improve the spending of funding for businesses reopening post-COVID-19.

Khurram had also reached out to other BIAs and Chambers of Commerce in the Durham region to assist them in applying the same approaches he devised so it could aid them in achieving greater economic development. His advice was then adopted by the Ontario Government and updated into the official Digital Main Street program in 2022.

He also advised Mary Ng, Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business & Economic Development Canada in 2019, to offer grants and funding to small businesses through the marketing agency service model. This conversation was solely based on providing professional services, like grants or loans, more easily.

Due to his efforts, in January 2022, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the economic support plan for small business financing. This program was a game-changer as it allowed businesses to receive up to $100,000 from BDC and other lenders to update and improve their online presence. With this rolling tide in motion, Khurram was invited in November 2023 by the local MPP, Ontario Minister of Finance and other ministers for the 2024 budget planning meeting.

Having bypassed major challenges and hurdles, Khurram is now committed to supporting community organizations such as The Ajax Pickering Board of Trade, The Business Advisory Centre Durham (BACD) and Durham Region Police Service (DRPS)’s YIP (Youth in Policing) program like CAN (Community, Advocacy & Networking).

As of 2024, he started his own non-profit organization called ABC (Advance Business Connections), a place that focuses on coaching businesses and improving their well-being. With this new venture, he aims to provide resources, guidance and mentorship to help entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of starting and scaling a business. While it is still in progress, Khurram has been working hard to approve grants and sign sponsors for ABC. This would allow him to hire the experienced staff required to take up-and-coming business to new heights. But while everyone waits for updates with bated breath, Khurram continues investing his minutes into multiple projects. After all, time is money.

Khurram Qureshi welcomes new ideas and is eager to back people up for success. His motto is “Passion for Perfection” as this truly defines the way he works on any project.
