Welcome to Digipix, Inc!  Let me tell you a bit about me.  I am a 31 year old professional who has been shooting for 18 years.  It all started when I was shooting snapshots around with my Kodak 110 camera.  That's where the love and passion began. 

Through the years I evolved from Point and Shoot family and friend snapshots to being very active in my high school newspaper and yearbook.  I won numerous awards in high school competing in local and regional competitions for my photojournalism talents and keen eye for capturing the beauty and moment in time.  I was always the "photoguy". 

Progressing into College and University time, I had a full ride scholarship for four years shooting for my schools newspaper and yearbook departments.  This entailed, portraiture, photojournalism, sports, nature and any type of photography that was required for the college.  Attending the Missouri College Newspaper Association where all colleges and universities compete for awards throughout Missouri, I walked away with numerous awards for my four years of effort. 

As time went on I continued with my photography career moving away from the photojournalistic side to the portraits and glamour and finally realizing that with the passion, dedication of photography that I had, I decided to keep it as a hobby and not a profession.   I went on to pursue a career in Social Work, working for the Division of Youth Services for Missouri, Psychiatric hospitals and the Children's Therapy center.  After six years of filling my heart with good feelings and deeds, I progressed into Computer's and Technology that allowed me to continue my passion for photography.

So here I am still shooting away and as I get older I find that in the 18 years I've been shooting this is the time to truly reflect upon photography and begin another journey into a new realm.  I'm pleased with my many years of experience, I'm pleased with the tools I have been god given and technological tools that are available today.  I hope you can share with the passion of photography with me.
